Setup Process

Step 1: Preparation

Before you unleash HODLClub you’ll want to do a little prep to juice your project.

First, map out your club tiers.  Pick token thresholds that push your community to buy more and HODL harder. For each tier choose a name, upload a custom image, write a snappy description, set the token requirement and reward multiplier.

Next, design your reward roadmap so you can pay back the real ones. Pro users can stack multiple milestones and watch loyalty skyrocket.

Now for the fun part: Auto Flex & Shame posts. Upload your own graphics and craft hilarious captions for every whale sighting or paper-hands moment.

Do your homework up front and you’ll have HODLClub up and running in no time.

Bot Installation

Here’s the easy part. Make sure you’re an admin or owner so you can add members and grant admin rights. First, invite @HODLClub_bot into your main group, then promote it to admin and turn on all required permissions.

Next, go into each Club Group Chat you’ve set up and do the same: add the bot as a member, make it an admin, and enable those permissions.

Once that’s done you’re all set.

Initial Setup

In your main group chat run the /hodl_setup command. The bot will then DM you to finish the setup.

First, set your community’s $TOKEN. You’ll be prompted to paste your Solana contract address, so have it ready.

Next, pick a killer name for your crew. Upload a custom promo image or stick with the default if you’re feeling lazy. Then drop in some hype text to get everyone amped for HODLClubs and Rewards.

If you plan on using the reward feature (which you definitely should), fund your reward wallet next. This wallet is all yours, so treat it like your private stash. Load it up with enough project tokens and a bit of SOL for those auto-airdrops. Give it a minute after funding before you check the balance.

Finally, set the minimum token amount required for wallet verification. Pro tip: don’t make it too low or too high since every verified wallet will qualify for your rewards.

Admin Seats

Need your crew to help set up or manage HODLClub? We’ve got you covered. Run /hodl_access and you’ll see a list of your current Telegram admins. Pick who gets the power to use HODLClub commands.

Next, choose their rank:

• Super Admin gets full control.

• Normal Admin can do everything except touch the Reward Wallet so your private keys stay locked down.

Create Clubs

Here’s the fun part... Creating your HODL Clubs. In your main group run /hodl_club and follow the DM prompts.

• Basic communities get 1 club. 
• Pro communities get up to 5 clubs.

Before you dive in, create a new private Telegram group for your club hangout.

In the DM click “Add Club,” pick a badass name, upload a custom image, write some hype copy, set your token threshold and optional reward multiplier.

Preview it to make sure it slaps.

Then in your private group (make sure @HODLClub_bot is added as admin) run /hodl_club_link, select your main community name and pick the club you built.

Boom you have a club.

Create Rewards

Creating rewards for HODLing is a killer way to pump up your whole community—not just club members but everyone stacking bags. More HODLing equals more hype.

In your main group run /hodl_reward and follow the DM prompts to set it up.

• Basic plan gets 1 reward
• Pro plan gets up to 10 rewards

First fund your reward wallet so the bot actually has tokens to drop. Then click Add Reward. For each reward give it a name like “3-DAY HODL Streak,” upload an image and write a hype description. Set how long members must HODL to earn the airdrop and choose the reward amount.

Once someone verifies their wallet the countdown begins.

Set Flex Messages

Everyone loves a subtle flex so let your top HODLers show off when they unlock your exclusive HODLClubs.

Flex messages crank the hype and fuel FOMO.

In your main group run /hodl_flex and follow the DM prompts.

1. Basic plan gets 2 flexes

2. Pro plan gets up to 10 flexes

You can trigger flexes on club entries or reward milestones. Mixing multiple flexes across different clubs and rewards keeps things fresh.

When you create a flex:

• Pick your trigger (club or reward) and assign it to the correct club or milestone

• Upload an eye-catching image and write a punchy headline

• Drop in some hype text and use {mention} to tag the legend who just flexed

Set Shame Messages

Everyone loves a little tough love. Keep paper hands in check with HODLClub’s Shame feature.

Run /hodl_shame and follow the DM prompts to set it up. Pick your trigger, then upload a custom image or GIF, write a savage headline and description, and use {mention} to call out the culprit.

Shame posts fire off when the next wallet check runs (monthly on Basic, bi-monthly on Pro, or daily if you’ve added that upgrade). We’ll space them out so you don’t get spammed when a bunch of jeets dump their bags.

User Commands

Wallet Verification

To join HODL Clubs or earn Rewards you need to verify your wallet(s). Run /hodl_verify in the main group and complete the setup in DM. If you have multiple wallets just click “Verify Wallet” for each address.

You will be asked to send a small amount (about $1 worth) of your token to the dev wallet. Then paste the transaction signature (Tx hash) to confirm. Wait about 20 seconds for the transaction to process before copying it.

Once verified the bot totals your token balances across all linked wallets and automatically invites you to any HODL Clubs you qualify for. You can check the status of your wallet(s) at any time to view your club memberships and see how many days until your next reward.

View Leaderboard

Leaderboards are one of the coolest parts of HODLClub. They rank the top 10 bag holders in each club and showcase the longest HODLers in your community. Simply run /hodl_top in your main group to see who’s on top.

Promote Clubs & Rewards

Your clubs and rewards are live. Now it’s time to blast them everywhere. In your main group run /hodl_promote, choose whether you want to hype a club or a reward, pick the one to feature, and let the bot handle the rest.
